Titanium Scrap We Buy
Machine shops and manufacturers that machine titanium generate solids and turnings worth keeping clean. We buy titanium and all of its alloys, from commercially pure (CP) titanium to 6-4 and beyond. Tell us the grade if you know it, or tell us it's mixed.

We buy these metals and their alloys. Open the section for the full list.
CP titanium and titanium alloys
Commercially pure (CP) titanium and titanium alloys, as solids and turnings.

Titanium turnings: what helps
- One grade per container where you can
- No carbide insert pieces
- No other metals or alloys mixed in
- As little coolant as possible
We don't buy metal in dust form.
Some materials we never buy, in any form. See what we don't buy.
How to describe your material
- Grade, if you know it (CP, 6-4, 6-2-4-2, etc.). "Unknown" or "mixed" is a fine answer.
- Form: solids or turnings.
- Prepared or unprepared (solids), using our standard.
- Mixed or kept separate by grade.
- Oil or coolant on turnings.
- Attachments on parts.
- Mill certs or heat numbers, if you have them.
What to send for a quote
- Material and grade (or "mixed")
- Approximate weight
- Location (city, state)
- One-time or ongoing
- Photos
Keep it separate to protect its value
- Keep grades apart where you can.
- Keep broken insert pieces out of titanium turnings.
- Keep other alloys and excess coolant out of titanium turnings.
Load size
Our minimum for titanium, including FerroTi, is generally 1,000–3,000 lb per load.
Frequently asked questions
Do you buy titanium turnings?
Yes. Keep them as clean as you can: one grade if possible, no insert pieces, and as little coolant as possible.
What titanium grades do you buy?
All of them. We buy titanium and its alloys, including CP, 6-4, 3-2.5, and 6-2-4-2. The full list is above.
I don't know my grade. Can you still quote it?
Yes. Tell us what you know, say if it's mixed, and email photos to sales@arrmetals.com.
