Terms of Use
Effective date: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of arrmetals.com (the “Site”), operated by Arrow Metals, a division and registered assumed name of Arrow Industrial Inc., a Michigan corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Business-to-business only. The Site is intended for businesses and other organizations, and for individuals acting on their behalf. It is not directed to consumers.
By accessing the Site or submitting a form, email, or upload, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. No offer; no contract through the Site alone
Content on the Site is for general information only. Nothing on the Site is an offer to buy, sell, or otherwise transact.
- Submitting a form or receiving a reply, estimate, or quote does not create a binding contract.
- Any purchase, sale, or other service is effective only under a separate written agreement signed or otherwise accepted in a manner we approve, and only on the terms of that agreement.
- Prices, methods, timelines, and availability discussed on the Site or in preliminary emails are illustrative unless confirmed in that separate agreement.
2. Quotes subject to inspection and verification
Any quote, estimate, indication of interest, or proposed terms we provide is:
- Based on information you supply (including photos)
- Subject to inspection, verification of identity and authority, confirmation of quantities and condition, and — for metal — weights, grades, assays, contamination checks, and similar verification
- Subject to change until incorporated into a separate written agreement
- Not a guarantee of payment amount, timing, method, or acceptance of material or equipment
We may decline any transaction for any lawful reason.
3. Accounts and authority
If you contact us on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to submit information and photos for that company.
4. Metals, materials, and roll-off containers
- We buy industrial metal from businesses (for example, manufacturers, fabricators, and demolition and construction contractors) and may supply mills and processors, subject to separate agreement.
- Typical minimums, materials lists, and container sizes on the Site are general guidance and may change.
- Materials not accepted: Do not load or tender materials we list as not accepted (including, without limitation, radioactive or contaminated material, compressed cylinders, listed liquids, items containing CFCs/Freon, PCBs (50 ppm or more), or mercury, explosives/weapons/unspent ammunition, waste/garbage, and other items described on the Materials We Buy page). If you are unsure, call 248.717.0005 before loading.
- Providing a roll-off or arranging delivery/pickup does not mean we accept prohibited contents. You are responsible for what is placed in a container, for site access, and for any local permits required for placement at your facility, unless a written agreement says otherwise.
- Settlement, pricing, weights, and payment terms are not published on the Site and are set only in a separate agreement or confirmation.
5. Photo and file uploads — license and warranties
If you upload or email photos or files:
License. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and share those materials internally and with service providers as needed to evaluate and respond to your inquiry and to perform any related transaction you request.
Your warranties. You represent and warrant that:
- You own the files or have all rights and authority needed to share them with us
- The files do not infringe any third-party intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights
- The files do not contain malicious code
- Any personal information in the files may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy
We may refuse or delete photos and files at our discretion. Photos you email or text may contain location metadata (EXIF); you are responsible for what you send, including that metadata and the image content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes or to submit false, stolen, or unauthorized property information
- Attempt to probe, scrape (beyond ordinary search-engine use), disrupt, or overload the Site
- Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the Site to send spam or malware
We may suspend access or discard submissions that appear to violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, branding, layout, and other content are owned by us or our licensors. You may view pages for your internal business evaluation of our services. You may not copy, scrape, or republish Site content for commercial use without our prior written consent, except for fair use or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Third-party names on the Site are the marks of their owners and are used only for identification.
8. Text messaging terms
Arrow Metals, a division of Arrow Industrial Inc., sends text messages from 248.717.0005 to people who text us first or opt in, about quotes, scheduling, and customer service. Consent to texts is not a condition of doing business with us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at 248.717.0005 or sales@arrmetals.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile numbers.
9. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the Site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON SITE CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US $10).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Separate written transaction agreements may set different liability terms for those transactions; those agreements control for the transaction they cover.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the Site; (b) your uploads or other content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of law or third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where a separate written transaction agreement specifies a different venue for that transaction.
14. Severability; entire agreement; assignment
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, plus the Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement for a specific transaction, are the entire agreement regarding Site use. We may assign these Terms in connection with a corporate reorganization or sale of assets. You may not assign them without our consent.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site and updating the effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different method of consent.
