Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arrow Metals, a division and registered assumed name of Arrow Industrial Inc., a Michigan corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use arrmetals.com (the “Site”).
We operate a business-to-business website. The Site is intended for businesses and other organizations, and for individuals acting on their behalf. It is not directed to consumers.
By using the Site or sending us a form, email, or other inquiry, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information.
1. Information we collect
A. Information you provide
When you use the Site’s forms (or email or call us), we may collect:
- Name
- Company name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Location of equipment or material (for example, city and state)
- Description of equipment, parts, materials, timing, weight estimates, and related details you choose to send
- Message content
- Photos or documents you email or text to us (for example, JPG, PNG, or PDF files)
B. Photos and files you send us
If you send us photos or files:
- We use them only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry (for example, to understand equipment or material condition).
- Photos sent by email or text may include location data (EXIF or similar metadata) saved by your phone or camera. We use photos only to respond to your inquiry. If you prefer not to share location data, turn off location tagging or remove it before sending.
- Do not send files you do not have the right to share. See also our Terms of Use regarding photo and file licenses and warranties.
C. Technical and essential Site data
Our hosting or email systems may automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate the Site and deliver your message (for example, IP address, date/time, browser type, and basic server logs). We treat that as operational data for security, spam prevention, and troubleshooting.
D. Site analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and the general type of device and browser used. Google Analytics uses cookies (for example, `_ga` and `_ga_<ID>`, which by default last up to 2 years) and similar technology to collect this information, which Google processes on our behalf. We use these reports only to improve the Site. To learn how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies or pixels, and we have not turned on Google Analytics advertising features. We also use Google Search Console, which gives us reports on how the Site appears in Google search results; it does not place cookies on your device. If we add other tracking, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when that change takes effect.
2. Cookies
We may use essential cookies (or similar technology) only if needed for basic Site function, security, or spam prevention (for example, a form honeypot, session token, or the hCaptcha check described below). These are not used to advertise to you. We also use analytics cookies from Google Analytics, described in Section 1.D.
Form processing and spam protection. Our contact forms are delivered by a third-party form service, which passes your submission to our business email. To block spam, the forms use hCaptcha, a service of Intuition Machines, Inc. hCaptcha may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the page, and may use cookies, to check that a submission comes from a person. hCaptcha's use of that information is governed by its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We do not set advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, though the spam check may ask you to complete a challenge.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your inquiry or request
- Follow up by email, phone call, or text message (if you agreed to texts) about that request
- Arrange next steps you ask for (for example, scheduling a discussion or logistics conversation)
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety
We do not sell your personal information.
3A. Text messaging
If you text us, or give us a mobile number and agree to receive texts, Arrow Metals, a division of Arrow Industrial Inc., may text you about your inquiry, such as quotes, scheduling, and customer service. We use mobile numbers and texting consent only to respond to you and send messages you asked for. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers, such as our messaging platform, as needed to deliver messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. See our Terms of Use for text-messaging terms.
4. How we share information
We may share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and communications (for example, web hosting, form delivery, spam protection such as hCaptcha, email delivery, and text-message delivery), under obligations appropriate to the service
- Analytics provider: Google, which processes Site usage data for us through Google Analytics (Section 1.D)
- Professional advisors (for example, attorneys or accountants) when needed
- Legal and safety disclosures when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
5. Retention
We keep inquiry and upload information for as long as reasonably needed to:
- Complete the business purpose for which it was collected
- Maintain ordinary business records
- Meet legal, tax, insurance, or dispute-related needs
Exact retention periods may vary by record type. As a general target for ordinary website inquiries that do not become active customer files, we aim to retain form submissions and related uploads no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required or appropriate. Active customer and transaction records may be kept longer under our ordinary business practices and applicable law.
When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it in a commercially reasonable manner.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send highly sensitive personal data (for example, Social Security numbers) through the Site forms.
7. Your choices
- You may request access to, or correction of, contact information you have provided, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
- You may ask us to delete inquiry information where retention is not required, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.
- For marketing email (if we ever send it), you may unsubscribe using the method provided in the message. Transactional or relationship messages about an active inquiry or transaction may still be sent when appropriate.
- To opt out of Google Analytics, use your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on linked in Section 1.D.
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.
To make a privacy request, contact us using the details in Section 11.
8. “Do Not Track” and similar signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT signals. We do not currently change how the Site works in response to DNT signals. We use Google Analytics only to measure Site use (Section 1.D), not for advertising or to track you across other websites. You can opt out of Google Analytics as described in Section 1.D. We do not currently respond to Global Privacy Control or similar browser signals.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. California and other U.S. state notices
